Named once, for the whole family

A face is found once and named for the whole family, so the relative who knows who it is answers for everyone.

Pressing an unnamed face in a photo and picking who it is.

Every photo of one person

Each person’s page gathers the photos they are named in, beside their stories and key dates.

Faces on the family tree

The tree draws everyone by face and name, and each name opens their page.

The family tree on a computer: four generations, each person by face and name.

Where the faces are found

  • On Hearthkeep HomeOn your own computer. Without a graphics card it is slower; a card makes it fast.
  • On Hearthkeep CloudOn ours, so we can see what you store. Never sold, never shared, no ads, and never used to train AI. Take it home any time, free.

Questions

How do I find every photo of one person?

Open their page: the photos they are named in are there. Search also finds photos by a face or a name.

Does it work on old prints?

Yes. Scan a print with your phone, and Hearthkeep finds the faces in it and asks who they are.

Do I need a graphics card?

No. Faces, pets, photo search and transcribing run without one, just slower. A card makes them fast.

Can Hearthkeep see our photos?

On your own computer, Hearthkeep sends us only a daily license check, plus an optional, opt-in only usage report for improving the app. Never your names, photos or anything you add. On Hearthkeep Cloud we can see what you store, because finding faces and searching need it. We never sell it, never give it to anyone, never show ads, and never train AI on it.
