Who is in each photo

Every photo lists the people in it, and each name opens their page. A face nobody has named yet asks who it is.

An opened photo with the people in it named beside their faces, and one face still asking who it is.

Albums for a trip, a house or a person

Gather old prints and new photos into an album, with a day written down beside them.

An album: a day written down, two photos and a recipe, gathered for one housewarming.

Everyone’s photos from the same day

An event gathers everyone’s photos from it into one album while it happens, so nobody has to collect them afterward.

Events: Lake Week happening now, and the weeks before it, each with its album.

Questions

Should I organize photos by date or by event?

You don’t have to choose. The Library groups every photo by the month it was taken, and an album or an event gathers the photos of one occasion.

How do I sort thousands of photos nobody has named?

Hearthkeep finds the faces and asks who they are. Press a face, pick a name, and the photo is on that person’s page.

What if the same photo was added twice?

The same photo added more than once is stacked together, not shown twice.

Can old prints go in with the new photos?

Yes. Scan a print with your phone, front and back, and the two stay together.
